Since the launch of E.ON U.S.'s wellness program in 2004, the company has offered a variety of benefits and incentives to support the health and well-being of you and your families. Not only are you improving your health through these programs, you have said that these activities bring you closer to your family and colleagues.

During the 2010 Open Enrollment, employees will have the option of committing to participate in the expanded ChooseWell incentive program.

To take advantage of the program, employees must complete these steps in 2010 (by July 31, 2010) and 2011:

  1. Attend a WellFair or release requested biometric measures obtained from a physical with your personal health care provider to KC WELLNESS, the company's single-source health fair provider;
  2. Complete an online Health Risk Assessment.
The $200 ChooseWell incentive will then be applied to your Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA) in July 2011. By placing this money in your flexible spending account, it will allow you to pay out-of-pocket medical expenses (co-pays, prescriptions, etc.) and enjoy a tax break on those costs.

The ChooseWell incentive payment, as well as the new Choose to Own Your Health incentive, will be applied to your HCRA after an 18-month period so you have sufficient time to commit to a goal and see the results of your wellness efforts. This allows you time to get your results from a health fair or your personal health care provider, as well as your Health Risk Assessment, and follow up on a suggested regimen. It also allows you to compare two years of health fair data to see if your wellness efforts are making a difference in your biometric measures including blood pressure, cholesterol, weight and glucose levels.

E.ON U.S.'s wellness programs are here to help you live longer, healthier and more productive lives. To receive your 2010/2011 ChooseWell incentive, follow these steps:
  1. In 2010 and 2011, attend a company WellFair OR visit your personal health care provider between January 1 and April 30 both years and release requested biometric measures to KC WELLNESS, the company's single-source health fair provider, and
  2. Complete an online Health Risk Assessment through one of the following sites:


  3. Receive $200 in your Health Care Reimbursement Account in July 2011. *
* Please note that only regular, full-time and part-time employees as of July 1, 2011 are eligible for the incentive offer. Spouses and other family members are not eligible.
