Paul Gregory (Greg) Thomas Vice President, Energy Delivery - Distribution Operations

Greg Thomas was named to his current position in 2007. He has 29 years of experience in the electric and natural gas industry.

Thomas began his career as a technical engineer for Kentucky Utilities Company. He held many diverse positions in the electric distribution sector including customer service engineer, field operations coordinator, division engineer, district manager, division vice president, regional general manager, and director of distribution operations and energy delivery. He is currently responsible for statewide electric and gas distribution operations. This includes establishing service for new customers, enhancing the gas and electric network, and operating and maintaining/repairing the network.

Thomas has a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Tennessee.

His professional/trade memberships include the EEI Operations Group member. Thomas serves on the American Gas Association's Executive Council and the board of the American Red Cross. He is a 1997 graduate of Leadership Kentucky and is a volunteer for Project Warm, the WHAS Crusade for Children and Metro United Way.
