Net Impact Bluegrass to Hold Free Launch Event at Louisville Zoo
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The newly formed Bluegrass chapter of the international nonprofit organization Net Impact will hold a kickoff event at the Louisville Zoo on Sept. 17. Free to the public, the event will inspire, educate and equip participants to use the power of business to create a more socially and environmentally sustainable world.

Sponsored by LG&E, Brown-Forman and WFPL News, The Net Impact Bluegrass Launch Event will feature a panel discussion that includes WFPL's environmental reporter Kristin Espeland and Net Impact co-founder Jim Schorr. The two will discuss ways to effect positive social change in the community. In addition, the event will include free appetizers and a cash bar.
"This event is an opportunity for our chapter to begin engaging professionals interested in transforming their ideals into measureable results." said Katie Greene, board member of Net Impact, Bluegrass Chapter. "Through hosting events like this, we hope to grow a network of citizens who use the power of business to improve society."
