LG&E Project Warm Begin Free Energy Management Workshops
Workshops Teach Weatherization and Conservation

Louisville, Ky. — Beginning tonight, LG&E customers can once again learn how to better manage their energy usage by attending a free energy management workshop. Since 1982, LG&E has been partnering with Project Warm to educate customers on the advantages of weatherization and conservation.

The first workshop will be held tonight at 6:30 p.m. at Beechwood Baptist Church, located at 201Biltmore Rd. in St. Matthews.

At the workshop, Project Warm representatives will demonstrate weatherization and conservation techniques that can be put to use going into the fall and winter months. Every attendee will also receive a free weatherization kit containing plastic sheeting, tape, wall plates, rope caulk, tacks, and a brochure that includes weatherization and conservation tips to help control energy usage.

Registration is required to attend all workshops not at the LG&E Broadway Office Complex. Those wanting to attend a workshop should call the host site and leave a message with your name and telephone number. To view a complete list of workshops with the location, date and times visit www.projectwarm.org.
