Traffic Changes On River Road Begin Monday
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — As preparations continue for the new downtown arena, traffic flow on River Road between Second and Third streets will be limited beginning Monday night and continuing through late March.
Starting Monday at 6 p.m., both eastbound lanes of River Road, between Second and Third Streets, will be closed until 6 a.m. One lane will then re-open to traffic and one lane will continue to be closed.
These changes will be in effect through March 28.
Construction will also continue to close all lanes of Second Street, between Washington Street and River Road, through late February. Third Street will continue to be open to north and southbound traffic.
