LG&E, Project Warm Partner to Offer Free Energy Management Workshop

Louisville Gas and Electric Company (LG&E) and Project Warm are partnering once again to offer a free energy management workshop to educate the public about weatherization and conservation.

LG&E and Project Warm representatives will offer conservation tips and demonstrate weatherization techniques this Monday, February 13, from 9:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. in the lobby of LG&E's Broadway Office Complex located at 820 W. Broadway.

"By teaching weatherization and conservation techniques, these workshops help families take more control over their energy usage," said Dave Vogel, E.ON U.S. Vice President of Retail Services. "Workshop participants leave with the knowledge and the supplies to take simple and effective energy-saving actions at home."

Every workshop participant will receive a free weatherization kit containing plastic sheeting, tape, wall plates, rope caulk, tacks, and a brochure that includes weatherization and conservation tips to help control usage. No appointment is necessary to attend.
