LG&E Energy Names Griffin Manager of Employee Diversity Affairs
(LOUISVILLE, Ky. - February 3, 2004) LG&E Energy has named Lora Griffin to manage its employee diversity affairs program.
Griffin serves as a key member of LG&E Energy's Corporate Diversity Council to ensure the success of the company's diversity initiatives. Griffin also serves as a minority recruitment liaison, coordinates Affirmative Action/EEO efforts, and advises business units on diversity issues and initiatives.
Griffin joined Kentucky Utilities in 1986. She received her bachelor's degree from Kansas Newman University. She also holds a Senior Professional Human Resources designation and national membership from the Society of Human Resource Management.
"Lora's experience with both KU and LG&E and her broad HR background provide a strong foundation and seasoned perspective that will further the success of our diversity initiative," said Paula Pottinger, LG&E Energy's Vice President of Human Resources.
