(LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Oct. 28, 2003) LG&E Energy has been honored by Greater Louisville Inc. with a 2003 Work/Life Alliance Award as a Top Ten Leader in providing work/life balance. LG&E Energy was grouped in the 'large companies' category of local organizations with more than 250 employees.

At a recent awards luncheon at the Kentucky International Convention Center, Paula Pottinger, Vice President, Human Resources, accepted the award on behalf of the company. "LG&E Energy has always had a strong commitment to the balance of work and family," Pottinger said. "Employees have a positive connection to the company and are proud of their work and their employer. It's gratifying to be honored for this achievement."
