Purpose
E.ON U.S.'s Consumer Advisory Panel provides input to the management of LG&E and Kentucky Utilities. The panel reviews, discusses and offers feedback on customer-related issues within the LG&E and KU service territories. Panel members are individuals from rural and suburban communities throughout Kentucky, and membership is representative of the populations served by LG&E and KU. The panel meets four times a year, on a quarterly basis.
Formed in 2002, the Consumer Advisory Panel meets with LG&E and KU management to gain information about different areas of the company. The panel has conducted roundtable discussions on such topics as Holiday Utility Gift certificates, sponsorship opportunities, customer perceptions of various company initiatives, electric and natural gas safety, and potential customer communication channels, such as local extension offices.
